Orders and Shipping Policy
In stock items will be shipped out within a 2 – 3 business days. Business days are Monday through Friday, excluding holidays determined by common and other freight carriers. Delivery times are estimates and commence from the date of shipping, rather than the date of order.
All orders are subject to product availability. If an item is not in stock at the time you place your order, the item can be placed on back order which will typically be a wait period of 6 weeks or sooner.
Mail provider is United States Postal Office. Our company is based in St. Croix, US Virgin Islands. From this location, USPS is the most cost effective service available and has been consistently reliable. Shipping is offered at a flat rate of $20.00 per order to all destinations throughout the world. Note, for domestic destinations (USA, including Hawaii and Alaska), the throw pillows are delivered with the pillow insert included at no additional costs. For international destinations, the item delivered is the throw pillow cover only, the pillow inserts are not included. By doing so, we are able to offer a flat rate of $20.00 to all International destinations. Buying 3 or more pillows is a great way to take advantage of the flat shipping rate of $20.00
Shipments to the United States will be sent with Priority Mail 3 Day service which may take up to two weeks on the rare occasion. For US addresses, each package is insured and comes with delivery confirmation. International shipments will be sent without the pillow inserts via Priority Mail International Flat Rate envelope. USPS states that it will be delivered between 6 – 10 business days, however note that it may take considerably longer depending on conditions and destination. IMPORTANT MESSAGE for International Deliveries – Each International destination has their own customs policies and fees. We cannot guarantee that you will or will not be charged any customs taxes or duties. Any customs or import duties are charged once the parcel reaches its destination country. These charges must be paid by the recipient of the parcel; the customer is responsible for any additional fees. Further, we do not have any control of custom delays
Expedited shipping can be offered at the customer’s expense if so desired. Please contact us for further details at firstname.lastname@example.org / telephone 340.277.8898 (USA). Note that expedited shipping from the Virgin Islands is typically regarded as International shipping, thus the rates are considerably higher than mainland costs. If you live on the island of St. Croix, pick-up and delivery services can be arranged with no delivery cost.
The pillows will be packaged as following:
- 1 pillow will be sent in a durable, tear resistant and waterproof poly-bag
- 2 pillows will be sent in a corrugated cardboard mailing box
- International orders, inserts will not be included. 1- 2 pillow covers (no inserts included) will be shipped in a Priority Mail International cardboard envelope. More than 2 pillows would be sent in a Priority Mail International Flat rate box.
Insurance can be added upon request.
Returns and Exchange
Here at Debbie Sun Design Studios, we want you to be in love with your purchase. If you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase, you can return the product and get a full refund or exchange the product for another one, be it similar or not. Please contact us by phone or email to notify us of the return or exchange as soon as possible at email@example.com / Tel. 340.277.8898 (USA). You can return a product for up to 30 days from the date you purchased it. Any product you return must be in the same condition you received it. The customer will be responsible for the return shipping costs. On the rare occasion that items are lost or damaged in the mail, please contact us immediately. Once we can determine that the item was lost or damaged, a replacement item will be sent to the customer at no additional costs.
If 30 days or more have passed since your purchase, we cannot offer you a refund or an exchange. Upon receipt of the returned item, we will fully examine it and notify you via email, within a reasonable period of time, whether you are entitled to a return. If you are entitled to a return, we will refund your purchase price and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment.
